The Green Hive project consortium, with Lascò as a partner alongside the Technological University of Shannon (TUS), KEAN, Femxa, and TEAM4Excellence, has recently launched a toolkit to support Vocational Education and Training (VET) providers in creating and managing local hubs dedicated to sustainability training, called "Green Combs”, which will compose the European Sustainability Education Ecosystem, the Green Hive. 

The toolkit, titled "Toolkit for Creating and Managing Green Combs", includes the following resources:

1. A detailed and practical manual that provides methodologies, tools, and processes for creating and managing a green comb. The manual covers aspects such as governance, organization, community management, activities, tools, and ways to collaborate with the broader Green Hive ecosystem.

2. A collection of 12 canvases to support Green Combs coordinators in effectively managing and developing their hubs across various fields. Many of the canvases can also be used by trainers and educators to conduct workshops and sustainability training activities.

3. A Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) to assist educational and training institutions in creating, managing, and growing their sustainability education centers. The MOOC is available in Italian, English, Greek, and Spanish at this link: https://courses.trainingclub.eu/course/index.php?categoryid=32. The course covers the EU’s sustainability competence framework and best practices for implementing GreenComp, thus supporting students to develop systemic and critical thinking skills, understand the interconnections between the economy, society, and the environment, and collaborate with peers and external stakeholders.
